I am a very skilled and capable visual journalist, newspaper and magazine photographer/ videographer and magazine editor, TV News cameraman, and technology educator who has traveled the world over the past 35 years on assignments for many domestic and international publications including National Geographic Channel.

I am currently based in Dunedin, New Zealand working for the Clutha Leader newspaper in Balclutha since 2018.
I have been undertaking news and editorial photography and videography assignments for a number of media clients covering breaking news, editorial, and feature topics.

In 2003 after working as a deputy picture editor and ENG cameraman for SPH in Singapore I founded and edited for six years South East Asia’s biggest photography magazine, based in Singapore, covering photography news and events, travel and products reviews.

This has seen me facilitate and present many different and exciting digital technology workshops and seminars in a number of countries while also conducting training courses for small and large audiences for companies as diverse as Canon, Nikon, Nokia, Adobe Asia, Epson, and Sony.

During my extensive career in the media I have undertaken assignments in more than 33 countries, many of them travel or editorial based, and am very skilled at getting the best out visually of any situation.
